EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
BACKROUND
The small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN ) has provision for the execution for the One Local Government One Product (OLOP) program is a bottom- top approach specifically designed to promote Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) development in communities by focusing on product distinctive to their regions where they have comparative advantages, and cultivate same through value- addition into a national and global brand.
As part of it’s its implementation strategy, the agency will partner with financial institutions and cooperative societies/ Self Help Groups (SHG) across the country.
Consequently. Expression of interest is invited from interested organizations as follows;
  1. COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES HELP GROUPS etc.
Interested cooperative societies/Self Help groups and community Development Associations who wish to participate in the programmed and advise to forward their expression of interest to the agency.
Qualification for participation/ Requirement
  1. Evident of register with relevant state ministry and/or Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
  2. Must be into agro processing and/ or agro business
  • Must have been into an existence for at least one (1) year
The envelope should be marked: “COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES/ SELF HELP GROUPS (SHG)” AND ADDRESSED TO;
