RE: INVITATION TO TENDER FOR GOODS AND WORKS.
CORRIGENDUM TO EARLIER PUBLICATIONS.
The Nigerian Shipper’s Council hereby provides additional information/changes to its earlier advertisement made in The Guardian and Leadership Newspapers of 22nd August, 2017 and Federal Tenders Journal of 4th-7th September, 2017. The NSC therefore, advises prospective bidders to note and comply with following additional information in preparation of their tenders.
UNDER GOODS AND SERVICES (LOT 7.0).
Supply of Corporate Social Responsibility Materials to orphanage homes, Government School and Health Centers etc In Apapa and its environs; and IDPs.
UNDER WORKS AND SERVICES (LOT18).
Corporate Social Responsibility Projects:
Rehabilitation of Government Health Centers, School and sinking of boreholes in Enugu, Kano, Kogi, Lagos, Niger and Zamfara States.
UNDER GENERAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Please note the following additional information:
- Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate (2017)
- Evidence of current Industrial Training Funds (ITF) Compliance Certificate (2017).
- Evidence of detailed previous experience for similar jobs and a comprehensive company profile by submission of copies of letters of Awards, Valuation Certification and job completion certificates.
- Evidence of registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 1/1/2018 or valid certificate issued by BIP.
COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
The tender documents fee is now N10, 000.00per lot, payable through a remittal platform to Nigerian Shippers Council Lagos while NSC will refund the excess amount paid by the bidders

SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
GOOD AND SERVICES: The Technical Bid marked “TB” and Financial Bid marked “FB”(1 original each and 2 copies each, sealed in separate envelopes) addressed to Nigeria Shippers Council and on the reverse side of the envelope bearing your company’s name and address to be enclosed with soft copy of financial bid in a larger envelope with the same description. The tender documents should, then be dropped into “WORK AND SERVICES” Box after its registration on the 7th floor.
The job for which the tender is submitted should be clearly indicated on the envelope e.g. SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF OFFICE FURNITURE AND FITTINGS – LOT 4).

Submission of bidding documents closes 10 am on Wednesday 18th October 2017. Only Technical bids will be opened
IMPORTANCE NOTCE
- All tenders for Goods and Works must be received not later than 10 am on Wednesday, 18thOctober 2017
- Only Technical Bids will be opened immediately after the submission deadline of 10 am on Wednesday, 18th October and a new date for the public opening of financial bids of the successful bidders will be returned not open.
- The bids shall be opened on Wednesday 18th October 2017 immediately after closing at Conference Centre, Nigeria Shippers Council 4, Otunba Ayodele Soyode Lane, Apapa, Lagos
