INVITATION
FOR TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL BIDS
The Federal Government of Nigeria
through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has provided
funds to the Rubber Research Institute of Nigeria (RRN) for the production and
distribution of improved Gum Arabic (Acacia Senegal) seedlings.
In addition, the institute wishes
to execute part of her 2017 capital projects.
In furtherance of the above, the
institute is inviting interested contractors with relevant proven competence
and experience to submit tenders for the execution of the following projects:
2. The Project

of 1 No. Project vehicle

2. Supply of 1 No. Farm Tractor
Lot
3. Expansion of nursery at RRIN Gashua
Substation, Yobe State
Lot
4. Supply of nursery poly bags for
Gashua Substation, Yobe State
Lot
5. Rehabilitation of tissues culture
laboratory room at RRIN Gashua Substation, Yobe State
Lot
6. Laying of asphalt on 1km RRIN main
access road, Iyanomo, Benin City, Edo State.
3. Eligibility Requirement:
Interested bidders are required
to have the following qualification to bids:
a)
Evidence
of Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
b)
Evidence
of Company Tax Clearance Certificate and Audited Account for the last (3) years
(2014, 2015 and 2016.
c)
Evidence
of Current Compliance Certificate (2017) with Industrial Training Fund ITF.
d)
Evidence
of Current Compliance with Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF)
e)
Evidence
of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants
and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) or
Certificate issued by BPP.
f)
Current
Sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of RRIN or the Bureau is
a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the
bidding and to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and
correct in all particulars.
g)
Company
profile and evidence of technical qualifications of key personnel including
registration with relevant professional bodies
h)
Verifiable
evidence of financial capability
4. Collection of Bid Document:
Bid
document should be collected by prospective bidders from the Procurement Unit
of the Institute upon payment of a non refundable fee of #10.000.00 into Rubber
Research Institute of Nigeria Treasury Single Account.
5. Submission of Bids:
Bid
should be submitted in waxed sealed envelope addressed to the Executive
Director, Rubber Research Institute of Nigeria, Benin City, marked “Technical
and Financial Bids” with the project name at the top right corner of the
envelope.
The
bid envelope should enclose a bid security of the bid price as specific in the
bid document.
Submission
of bids closes at 11:45a.m. On 7th November 2017
6. Bid Opening
Received
bids shall be publicly opened at the Institute Conference hall by 12; 00noon on
7th November, 2017.

The
Institute reserves the right to reject any or all bids
·
Technical
and Financial bids should be enclosed in separate envelope with each marked
“Technical and Financial Bids” respectively. The two envelopes should be
enclosed in one large “Technical and Financial” Bids for (Project Name)

documents may be referred to the respective issuing authority for verification
and authentication
