INVITATION TO TENDER

INTRODUCTION

The National Institute for Sports (NIS) hereby invites competent and registered

Contractors/Companies for tenders in the respect of her 2017 prioritized projects in line with the Federal Government Bureau of Public Procurement Guidelines   in the following areas:

1. PURCHASE AND REHABILITATION

• Office furniture/Fittings
• Utility vehicle
• Security Equipment
• Purchase of Photocopying Machine

Rehabilitation /Upgrading

• Renovation of Office Building
• Rehabilitation of public schools/Hostels
• Upgrading of the Library (e-Library)
• Computerization and Allied ICT Equipment

1. REQUIREMENTS

Prospective Bidders shall be required to submit the following requirements.

1. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission – (form CO2 and CO7 must be attached)
2. Tax Clearance Certificate for 3 years (2014, 2015, and 2016/ Evidence of Tax Identification Number TIN
3. A Comprehensive company with curriculum vitae of Principal/Technical officers
4. Evidence that no Official of NIS is a shareholder of the bidding company
5. Verifiable evidence of previous experience in similar projects within the last five years
6. Prospective Bidders are to show evidence of financial capabilities from reputable banks to execute the proposed contract.
7. Evidence of registration with Pension Commission and remittance of funds.
8. Evidence of compliance with amended Industrial Training Fund Act 2011
9. Evidence of registration/inclusion in the bureau of public procurement (BPP) data-base of registered Contractors
10. Company’s 3 years financial summary and Audited Account (2014-2016)
11. All Certificates used for this bidding exercise should be in colored photocopies

1. COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
2. Application for Bid documents will be opened as from Monday,2^nd October, 2017
3. Tender documents are obtainable from the Procurement Unit of the NIS
4. A non-refundable fee of Twenty-five Thousand Naira (#25,000) as Tender Processing Fee will be paid for each bid
5. Photocopy of the Payment Receipt must be attached to the documents during submission.
6. Contractors are advised to state type, Manufacturers make, and Country of Origin of the product, or materials (Specification) etc. they wish to supply.

1. SUBMISSION/CLOSING OF TENDER
2. The completed Tender must be enveloped, sealed and clearly marked Tender for e.g. purchase of Photocopy Machine – Project No. 4 at the right hand side of the envelop and dropped in the tender box at THE OFFICE OF THE HEAD OF PROCUREMENT on or before 1:00pm on Monday,12^thNovember,2017

1. Opening Tender
2. Tender will be opened immediately after 1:00 pm on Monday, 12th November 2017 at the NIS Council Chamber.
3. Prospective Bidders or their Representatives are invited for the opening

NOTE

1. Original documents of B-1 must be produced for sighting during the opening of bids
2. The execution of this project is subject to release/availability of the necessary fund.
3. The Institute is not bound to award the contract to any particular Company.
4. A Company should not bid for more than one project.
