INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Oyo State Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria hereinafter called “The Employer” intends to carry out:

(1.0) The procurement of Fire Equipment and Emergency Training Project for Oyo State Fire Service.

(2.0) The Oyo State Government of the Federal Republic herein called “The Employer” wishes to procure Fire Trucks and Tenders and carry out Emergency Training project for Oyo State Fire Service:

SECTION I: Procurement of Fire Trucks (Medium size Fire Tenders)
SECTION II: Emergency Training for Oyo State Fire Men

The projects shall involve the procurement of Fire Trucks and Tender and Training of Oyo State Fire Service on Public Private Partnership basis.

(3.0) The Employer hereby invites sealed bids from Contractors for the above project. Bidding is open to all reputable Fire and Safety Consulting Firms registered with the Oyo State Ministry of Works and Transport or the Oyo State Bureau of Public Procurement. Any interested Contractor must be ready to finance the project for payment later by the State Government.

(4.0) BID REQUIREMENTS
Interested Contractors are to submit the following documents:
(i) Evidence of registration with Oyo State Bureau for Public Procurement;
(ii) Evidence of the company registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission;
(iii) Evidence of payment of Personal Income Tax by at least Two (2) Directors of the Company;
(iv) Evidence of payment of bidding fees;
(v) Evidence of successful completion of similar projects in the Past (letters of award of contract and certificates of completion)
(vi) Company’s profile with relevant information;
(vii) Registration of Business Premises from the Ministry of Trade Investment and Cooperatives, Secretariat, Ibadan.

(5.0) Bidding documents may be obtained by hand at the Office of the Director of Planning, Research and Statistics, Oyo State Ministry of Works and Transport, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan on the production of treasury receipt for the payment of non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira Only (N50,000.00) into the Oyo State Government account with any commercial bank in the State, quoting the Revenue Code 40440024 between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on any working day starting from Thursday, 14th September, 2017.

(6.0) Bids shall be opened by 12 noon on Thursday, 5th October, 2017 in the presence of bidders who wish to attend.
