Invitation for Pre-Qualification and Financial Bidding
(A) Introduction
Following the approval in principles received from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) to execute the year 2015/2016 (merged) TETFUND project maintenance intervention. 0152x/2016. Abia State Polytechnic Aba wishes to invite reputable and competent contractors/firms to apply for pre-qualification and tendering of the under listed project

Pre-qualification information will be evaluated based on the following criteria
Evidence of company registration with Abia State Polytechnic, Aba
Evidence of financial capability and banking support backed by bank statements and audit reports
Verifiable evidence of previous experience in execution of similar contract (attach Letters of Award and Certificate of Completion)
Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Registration
Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
Evidence of compliance with Pension Fund-PENCOM
Evidence of compliance with the National social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF)
Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Contractors, Consultants and service providers by BPP or a copy of Interim Registration Report (IRR) as evidence of compliance with the requirement and
Sworn Affidavit
(C) Collection of Bid Documents

(C) Collection of Bid Documents
Interested bidders are expected to obtain technical and financial bid documents from the office of the Bursar/Director, Physical Planning (DPP), Abia State Polytechnic, Aba on payment of the sum of N30,000.00 (thirty thousand naira) only
(D) Submission of Bid Documents
The Completed pre-qualification bid supporting documents (10 copies) and the financial bid (2 copies) shall be placed in two different sealed envelopes, marked, pre-qualification for financial bidding of “Rehabilitation of School Engineering Technology (SET)”and addressed to the undersigned with the name of the Contractor written on the back of the envelope marked. Bid for AbiaPoly Rehabilitation of School of Engineering Technology.
(E) Only suitable qualified Contractors who participated in the pre-qualification exercise may be allowed to tender for the project
(F) Closing Date
Application for bid documents received after 6 weeks working days (20th February 2018) from the date of this publication shall not be considered
