INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE 2017 CAPITAL PROJECTS
1.0 PREAMBLE
The National Institute of Construction Technology (NICT), Uromi, was appropriated funds in the 2017 Budget and the Institute wishes to use the funds for the execution of its Projects. Accordingly, the Institute hereby invites interested and qualified Contractors for the procurement of the following under-listed Works.

2.0 DESCRIPTION OF PROJECTS
LOT A: Construction of Roads/Drainage and Walkways (Phase 1)
LOT A: Construction of Roads/Drainage and Walkways (Phase 1)
LOT B: External Works for the Offices and Workshop Building
LOT C: Procurement of Laboratory/Workshop Equipment for the Laboratories
3.0 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Interested Contractors are required to submit the following documents:
a. Verifiable evidence of Certificate of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
b. Verifiable evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate in the last three years: 2014, 2015 & 2016.
c. Verifiable evidence of current Pension Commission (PENCOM) compliance clearance Certificate (2017).
d. Verifiable evidence of current clearance certificate Industrial Training Fund (ITF) (2017).
e. Verifiable evidence of compliance with Registration with National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).
f. Verifiable evidence of registration with the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) federal contractors, consultants and suppliers Database.
g. Verifiable evidence of financial support from a reputable bank
h. Verifiable evidence of similar works successfully executed, at least three in the past five years, with name of clients, award letters and job completion certificate.
i. Verifiable evidence of construction equipment with proof of ownership or lease agreement.
j. Verifiable evidence of a non-refundable tender fee of N25, 000.00
k. Verifiable evidence of company profile.
l. A sworn affidavit confirming that all information presented and attached are true and correct, that the company is not under receivership, insolvency or bankruptcy and that none of its Directors was ever convicted by any court of law or staff of the Federal Ministry of Education (FME) or BPP.

4.0 COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Tender documents are obtainable from the Physical Planning Division, National Institute of Construction Technology (NICT), Uromi, on the presentation a non-refundable Tender fee payment receipt of N25, 000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira) made payable to National Institute of Construction Technology (NICT), Uromi, e-collection TSA Account 0040509761018 with CBN.

5.0 SUBMISSION OF BID
All Tenderers are to submit both the Technical and the Commercial Bids in separate sealed envelopes and enclosed in a large envelope addressed to:

The top left hand corner of the envelope shall bear the name of the Project/Lot for which you are applying and specify whether Technical or Commercial Bid. The documents shall be dropped in Tender Box marked “TENDER 2017” in the Procurement Office not later than Monday, 27th November, 2017. Opening of bids shall be on the same day by 10:00am.
6.0 NOTE:
a. The Institute reserves the right to reject any bid and will not enter into any form of correspondence with bidding contractors.
b. All submitted documents may be referred to relevant Agencies for verification.
c. This advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the Institute to award contract to any contractor, nor shall it entail any contractor/supplier submitting documents to claim any indemnity from the Institute.
